On behalf of the Mitis River Park, we would like to thank all who bought tickets, sponsored a hole or made a donation as part of our annual golf day at the Boule Rock golf club of Métis-sur-Mer. More than 115 participants attended the golf day and supper at the Estevan Villa des Jardins de Métis. We also thank our very dedicated volunteers, without whom the golf day would not have been the current success.
As a follow-up to the previous e-mail of continued fundraising, we would like to share with you the official results of our golf day! In fact, we told you that the Jack Herbert Foundation agreed to double all the donations retained for the event and to continue the pairing until one week after the event, which was Saturday June 16th.
As part of the fundraising campaign, $ 5,761 in donations were accumulated, doubled and rounded up to $ 6,000 by the Jack Herbert Foundation. Following this, we have compiled the results and are happy to announce that $ 20,015 have been raised for our organization !! Again, thanks to all of you for your generous contributions.
